Exotic Explorers promise to offer you an animal experience you'll never forget. Choose from over 70 species of exotic animals including Owls, Hawks, Skunks, Snakes, Lizards and Tarantulas!
We cater for personal experiences, parties, schools, SEN, corporate events, fetes/events and more.
We are a mobile zoo, and our coverage areas include Essex, London and sometimes further out (See our FAQs for details).
We are based in Essex and the company was set up by professional and highly experienced Zoo Keepers that have animal welfare and education at our hearts.
We aim to bring learning to life.

Boris has now published the "road-map" for easing restrictions which is encouraging news! The below are dates for when we 'should' be able to resume services. Note that this is all subject to change dependant on the UK government decisions.
From 8th March: We are able to offer our Educational Sessions again.
From 12th April: We will be able to run our normal services outdoors for groups of up to 6.
From 17th May: We will be able to run our normal services outdoors for groups of up to 30.
From 21st June: We will be able to run all of our services with no restrictions at all.
For now, we are able to offer our very popular Virtual Encounters to our clients, and anyone can enjoy these fun virtual sessions with us. We've hosted sessions for individuals, school groups, businesses, scout groups and loads more!
Despite being extremely limited on what we can do, our animals still need their usual food and general maintenance which isn't cheap! This is having a devastating impact on our business, but there are ways you can help:
- Adopt one of our animal team with one of our Adoption Packages.
- Purchase Gift Cards for any of our services to use at a later date.
- Buy something from our Amazon Wish List
- Donating fresh fruit and vegetables.
- Sending us a personal donation via paypal to paypal.me/BenjaminJGregory.

These guys were absolutely fantastic for my daughters' birthday. Really well organised and professional and so knowledgeable and with a genuine care for their animals. They were happy to answer questions from both children and adults and share their love of these animals with us. We could choose the animals we met and went for reptiles and insects, and all of them - even the huge python - were so well socialised and cared for that our 4 month old could stroke and interact with them and my 2 yr old could hold them. She was delighted at the little frog - what a valuable and memorable experience for everyone, and the start I hope of a love for all animals that lasts a lifetime.

Wow!!! We had an amazing ‘Virtual School Trip’ with Exotic Explorers. I emailed enquiring a predator package to fit in with our school topic and these guys certainly delivered! The children thoroughly enjoyed seeing the animals, watching them eat on camera and get to have a live Q+A with Ben and Puri. Children at home were also able to join in with the experience meaning they have not missed out on any learning and that when they return we can base lessons around the talk and they will understand what we are talking about! I have already recommended to other staff at my school who are looking at when they can book them in! Thank you guys so much! The children loved it (and so did the parents at home).

I took my 80 year old mother for an animal experience and it was absolutely brilliant. My mother engaged with the animals and the presenter in a beautifully calm manner. Totally recommend this to anyone of an older age and thoroughly promote this experience for the younger generation to help raise awareness of animal welfare.

WOW These guys visited our school yesterday for our Summer Fair and I can honestly say this was absolutely brilliant... They had an amazing selection of different animals and the children really enjoyed the up close interaction. Ben and the team gave all the kids lots of time to hold the snakes,ferrets, pygmy hedgehogs, fancy mice and their two gorgeous brother and sister barn owls (the stars of the show for me)... Lots of information and facts for children and parents. Brilliant day and a massive thank you for coming!
